TrimTalk

TrimTalk is an educational initiative on behalf of  Love Hopes Anchor, Inc. that is dedicated to serve men who are in transitional housing within the NYC and Long Island area.

Our vision is to reduce the recidivism of fatherless children by educating and strengthening the moral of the men through motivational conversations, workshops that address financial literacy, social-emotional intelligence, fatherhood and parenting, and preparation for success in business and life skills.

We provide barbers to provide free haircuts and shaves, men’s dress clothing for upcoming employment interviews, a hot catered meal , and gift bags filled with essential toiletries.

Our passion is to empower these men to become future mentors of men within the transitional housing system. Male Mentors volunteer on a monthly basis in implementing our monthly TrimTalk meetings.

Vision For The Future

Our TrimTalk Mobile Grooming Center will be fully equipped with barber chairs, supplies, amenities seen at a Barbershop, along with our Men's Dress Clothing Closet where men will receive men's dress clothing apparel and grooming kits. We will also provide our resources and educational workshops to the men as they wait to be served for either haircuts or dress clothing.

The TrimTalk bus will be able to serve more communities within the boroughs of New York City and Long Island.  Your support can help us meet the needs of more men city wide.
